    2) Monitor changes in numbers and distribution of species
    3) Contribute to national Recording Schemes (your flower/bird’s nest/ earwig may provide a new dot on a national map
Please try to include at least these details:
Recorder’s name; species; grid reference (ideally two letters and six figures, e.g. SD486605), with the place name, (e.g. Lancaster), date.
