Field meeting for lichens: Coldwell Parrock on 25th. April

Our Lichen recorder Brian Carlyle expounding - wet but interesting!
14 members enjoyed this workshop on Lichens very well led by Brian Carlyle. Apart from a short downpour the weather was good. We were somewhat amazed to find the surface of a limestone erratic almost wholly covered in crustose lichens. We looked at other erratics, walls and several trees. We went away decidedly better informed about lichens thanks to Brian.
